This set is the current PSA #2 Registered Hall of Fame Set. This issue is the cornerstone of football card collecting. The offered set shows little handling and has strong colors with pleasing eye appeal. The Professional League, as football's top level was named at the time, was still in its infancy when these cards were issued. And, as suggested by the wide span of time that passed until another major football issue was released in 1948, the Leaf and Bowman's, it stands to reason that sports card sales were more of a "Field Goal" than a "Touchdown" in 1935. Just a limited amount of National Chicle cards available for today's collectors, the classics lack of initial impact makes a complete set, especially in this condition, a significant collecting triumph.
