Growing up in Dayton, Ohio, Minyoung Sohn collected baseball cards like most kids his age, and his interest started with the 1986 Topps set.
Each night he would open his shoebox of cardboard treasures and study each card, memorizing the players, their statistics and even their card numbers. Putting together this set (still incomplete), and watching the Atlanta Braves on TBS was the beginning of a love affair with baseball, which remains today.
Min re-entered the hobby in the early 2000s as his love of baseball and baseball cards never wanted. After reading about the hobby's top cards, his collecting fever was back and he began to acquire high-grade baseball rarities while expanding into football, basketball, hockey and boxing.
Over time the Rocky Mountain Collection assembled key rookie cards and other rarities for some of the greatest players of the game: Babe Ruth, Christy Mathewson, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Hank Aaron with the occasional nod to the greats in other sports such as Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, John Elway and Walter Payton.
The Collection also boasts large collections of some of greatest players of our modern era, including Ken Griffey Jr., Derek Jeter, Albert Pujols and Greg Maddux.

Accomplishing what he set out to build, Min has decided to take his collecting interests in a different direction. The Collection is a sports fan's dream, and we at Memory Lane Inc. are proud to offer collectors the opportunity to own cards that rarely enter the market.
